Welcome, friend! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a stay-at-home mom who loves to travel. We don’t have a lot of money, so I have to find other ways to afford being able to explore the world. Signing up for  credit card bonuses has given us that opportunity.

This hobby is not rocket science, but does involve a certain amount of planning to get approved for  credit cards successfully time after time. If  you have no clue what I’m talking about (which is OK), start by reading my Beginner’s guide page. It sounds too good to be true, but it is true!

As with everything in my life, I try to be honest  in how I go about this venture.  The banks don’t owe me anything, and I’m extremely grateful for all the travel my family gets to enjoy as a result of this hobby.

The blog focuses on  how to maximize your points and miles, but I  also write about good family travel deals and how to save money in general. I used to work as a tax professional, so I have a pretty good grasp on numbers and finance.

The point (pun intended) is not to brag, but rather help other middle-class families  create amazing memories while spending little out-of-pocket. Even if switching credit cards constantly isn’t your thing, I hope you can find some valuable info here anyway. Oh, almost forgot… I am a little wacky. But I hope you join me on this adventure anyway!

  3. Points joy is awesome! I’ve always played with Airline programs but never hotels until last year. Getting ready to burn 200k IHG points on Point Breaks in the US Next year, I never thought I’d be able to get 2 months of Hotel Rooms free!
