Work with Me

Brand partnership

Are you in a travel-related business and looking  for ways to promote your brand? Read my About page and drop me  a line at milesforfamily@gmail.com

If our goals align, I’ll be happy to consider promoting your brand or doing a review of your property. Of course, it will have to be 100% honest. This blog has a loyal and engaged following and I work hard to earn their trust. Check out this recent comment from one of my readers:

“Your website has become my first website to read. Why? Because you just tell the facts in a human, common-sense, compassionate way with a normal family in mind. A single person or couple (with no children) often have very different goals in mind. No offense to them, but many of us are in a different stage of life.

Your website connects to the normal family situation with the normal income — not the extreme scenarios. I intend no criticism to those who are in the “extraordinary” situations, but that is not the situation for my family. Therefore, I am drawn to a blog (your blog) that connects to ordinary families in ordinary situations.”

Guest posts

Occasionally, I’ll be happy to accept a well-written guest post relevant to my topic. This blog specializes in content that deals with frequent flyer miles and loyalty points, but with an “average family” angle. For that reason, preference will be given to posts that incorporate  an airline or hotel redemption.

However, I’ll consider  non-points “family trip report” type posts as long as they involve destinations and places that are affordable for an average Joe. Credit card and finance articles are welcome as well. You can email me first and describe the essence of your future post before actually submitting it. I’ll let you know if it’s a good fit for my blog.

Unfortunately, at this time, I can’t offer compensation. But I will happily promote your post on Twitter and Facebook. This blog has a loyal and engaged audience who might be interested in what you have to say on your own site. So, there  is a good chance that this partnership will be beneficial to us both. If you are thinking about becoming a blogger, it will give you an opportunity to test the waters, so to speak.

Some things for you to keep in mind:

  1. The post needs to have between 500-1,500 words total. Feel free to include a link to your website twice.
  2. Submission does not guarantee publication. While I certainly don’t want to waste anyone’s time, I have to put my readers’ interests  first.
  3. Please, only submit original, unpublished content.
  4. Please, check your spelling and grammar before submitting the post.

Well, that’s it! I look forward to working with you.
